About

Why I publish
the numbers.

I’m Indy Karveli. Husband, father, and since 2025 a full-time day trader. The numbers here are net, because a household doesn’t run on gross.

Indy Karveli

The short version

In 2025 I changed careers to day trade for a living, with a family who needs it to work. That single fact decides everything about this site. When the income has to cover a month, you stop caring about the screenshot and start counting the commissions, the data feed, the slippage and the tax.

So I take one setup, on one timeframe, every session — and I post what it paid after the close. Green days and red ones, in the same format, with every cost taken out before anything gets called income.

You should be skeptical

Everyone in this corner of the internet claims to be profitable and almost nobody shows their working. You have no reason to believe me either, and I’d rather say that out loud than pretend otherwise.

What I can offer instead of a claim is a trail. A daily record is hard to fake and easy to check: you can’t quietly delete a bad Tuesday when Wednesday has to follow it, and a losing month that stays on the page costs more to publish than a winning one. Read enough of them in a row and you’ll form your own view. That’s the point.

The standards this site is held to

  1. 01

    Every session gets posted

Including the ones I’d rather forget. A record with gaps isn’t a record.

  2. 02

    Net, never gross

Commissions, exchange and regulatory fees, market data, platform costs and slippage come out first. The headline number is the one that reached the bank.

  3. 03

    Corrections stay visible

If a figure is wrong it gets fixed in public, dated, with the original left on the page. Nothing is quietly edited away.

  4. 04

    Nothing is sponsored

No paid posts, no paid placements, no guest posts with links. A few tools I pay for return a commission, marked on the resources page and nowhere else.

  5. 05

    No signals, no managing money

I don’t sell calls, I don’t take anyone’s capital, and I never will. This is a record, not a service.

What you’ll find here

Daily

The closes

One post per session: gross, every cost, net, trades taken, and the worst drawdown of the day.

Running

The Record

Every session since the first one, with the monthly totals underneath. No gaps.

Occasional

The setup and the discipline

Sizing, loss limits, routine, and why almost nobody can run one strategy long enough to measure it.

The other thing I’m writing

I’m writing Selfmade Habits, a book about how self-made millionaires actually build wealth — through repetition rather than luck. The newsletter that goes with it is already running.

This site is that argument applied to a screen. One thing, done daily, measured honestly. If the book is right, the record should show it; if it isn’t, the record will show that too.

How this site makes money

Right now, it doesn’t. Nothing is for sale and nothing is sponsored. A few of the tools I pay for return a commission if you sign up through my link — those are marked on the resources page and nowhere else, and every one of them also appears as a cost in the daily closes, commission or not.

If that ever changes, it will be said here first and dated.

Important

Trading carries a substantial risk of loss and you can lose more than your initial deposit. My results are my own, are not typical, and are not an indication of what you will earn. Nothing on this site is investment, legal or tax advice. Read the full disclosures.
