This site runs on one setup, on one timeframe, every session. It's worth being clear about what that means, what I'll publish about it, and what I won't.
What "one setup" means
A setup is a specific set of conditions that has to be true before there's a signal, plus a rule for where the entry goes, where the exit goes, and where the stop goes. All of it decided before the session opens. None of it decided in the moment.
One setup means there's exactly one of those. Not a primary and a backup. Not a trend version and a range version. One set of conditions, and when they're met the rules produce a signal, and when they aren't they don't.
What "one timeframe" means
The rules read one chart. Not a higher timeframe for bias and a lower one for entry — one chart, one resolution, every session. That's not because multiple timeframes don't work. It's because the moment there are two, there's a judgement call about which one to believe, and a judgement call is where discretion gets back in.
Why one of anything
Because a strategy you can't measure isn't a strategy, it's a mood.
Every trader knows they should pick one thing and run it long enough to know whether it works. Almost nobody does. A bad week arrives and the search starts — a new indicator, a new timeframe, a new setup from someone on YouTube. Six months later they've run twelve strategies for two weeks each and learned nothing about any of them.
The rules here don't change because a week was bad. They'd change if the record showed, over enough sessions, that they'd stopped working. That's a different thing, and it takes a record to tell the difference.
What gets published
Every signal the rules produce, every session, marked on the chart. The conditions, the trigger, the exit. If a signal failed, it's on the chart and in the table like any other. If the rules produced nothing, that's the post: "the rules produced nothing today", with the chart to prove it.
Over time, the record becomes the only honest description of the setup there is. Not a description of what it's supposed to do — a record of what it did.
What doesn't get published
The exact rules. This isn't a strategy site and I'm not selling a system. The rules are mine; the record is public. If the record is good, it's good because the rules were followed every session, which is the part almost nobody can copy anyway.
And I never say which signals I took, or whether I traded at all on a given day. The chart shows what the rules produced. What I did with that is mine.
If the rules change
Then that gets its own post, dated, saying exactly what changed and why, and the record marks the boundary. The one thing that would break this site is a quiet edit to the rules with the old sessions left looking like they came from the new ones.
