Everything on the resources page is something I pay for and use. That page is short on purpose, and the rule for what goes on it is worth writing down.

The rule

A tool gets listed if I'm paying for it, or have paid for it, and I'm still using it. Nothing else. Not tools I've heard are good, not tools that offer a generous commission, not tools I tried for a week.

If I stop using something, it doesn't quietly vanish from the page — it gets a line saying I dropped it and why. A resources page that only ever grows is a page nobody's actually maintaining.

About the commissions

Some of the links on that page are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, I earn a commission and you pay the same price. Those links are marked. I've written the full disclosure elsewhere, but the short version: a commission buys placement on nothing. It doesn't get a tool onto the page, it doesn't move it up the page, and it doesn't earn a mention in a daily close.

If a tool is cheaper by signing up directly, the entry says so.

What's on it now

Charting, a trade journal, and the funded-account firms I hold accounts with. That's the whole list at launch. Execution and market data will follow once I've written up what each actually costs, because a resources page with a broker on it and no cost line is just an advert.

Why it's this small

Because the honest answer to "what tools do I need to day trade" is: fewer than you think. A chart, a way to execute, a way to record what happened. Everything beyond that is either a genuine improvement you'll discover you need, or a subscription that makes you feel like a trader without changing a single fill.

The strategy on this site runs on one chart. It doesn't need a second monitor of indicators, and neither, probably, does yours.
